A lot of religions already provide their own stances about homosexuality. Conservative Judaism gay perspectives have several things that they can say with regards to this issue. The following statements are only a few of those that they believe in.

Traditional views of those issues faced nowadays by many individuals, such as homosexuality are possessed by most people. As such, this issue is considered as an abomination. Gay persons are generally not wanted. Their own sons are wanted not to become homosexuals. If in case their own sons turned out to be queers, they are usually disowned by their parents.

However, there are also those individuals who would say that people should understand these individuals more as they struggle to find their true identities. They would say that these persons deserve respect. Individuals need respect so that they can live in peaceful communities. Acceptance is also a value that members should practice.

The Jewish equivalent of the Christian Bible is the Torah. All things that should be done by people in their lifetimes are stated in the Torah. The acts relevant to homosexuality are prohibited by the Torah. However, the homosexual are certainly not devalued by it. The fact that gays are also humans who have feelings and emotions of their own is maintained by it. It is never their fault to become attracted to people who belong to the same gender.

Some people are harassing and embarrassing gays in public. They are making rude comments and also jokes which hurt the emotions of homosexuals. A number of queers are attempting suicide for them to be avoiding these hurtful scenarios. With this, the Torah is prohibiting the harassment on them since harassment is opposing the teachings of Judaism to its members.

There are those individuals who believe that homosexuality is a disease that doctors, such as psychologists and psychiatrists can cure. A lot of practitioners usually conduct therapies to gays hoping that they can turn them into the persons that they should be. However, Judaism affirms the right of the homosexuals to reject therapies and counseling which they consider as useless and even dangerous.

Several queers are marrying individuals of the opposite gender thinking that they could be changing their orientations. However, the Jewish views are not encouraging one with a homosexual orientation to be marrying a person of the opposite sex. If he will be doing so, he could be expecting some negative scenarios, like dishonesty, ruined lives, tragedy, unrequited love, and shame.

As a conclusion, Jewish rabbis and their perspectives promote the equality of all Jews, regardless of orientation, gender, or wealth, among others. Those queers are advised to be true to their own selves. However, they are also reminded to have the Torah followed and homosexual acts should be abstained as much as possible.
