A brochure is a system of communication designed to carry a specific message about a company, product or service depending on the particular organization. These brochures usually come in the form of pamphlets, leaflets or even flyers with the sole purpose of passing on the intended message. These are designed to ensure they are eye-catching in nature. This is to make sure people find them interesting so that people can read them more. While some people take it upon themselves to distribute the booklets, others simply put them in a rack and let people choose for themselves. These are then placed in strategic places where people can find them easily.

Printing is a way of putting down information on paper. It is basically the use of a machine known as a printer to jot down onto paper for the use of others. These printers are faster and more effective as compared to hand-writing of information. It can also be used to produce multitudes of identical information without having to go through the monotonous repetitions in person.

These machines however, have side effects on the surrounding environment. They require a lot of energy to run and this is dangerous for nature. The elements used for printing are also known to be harmful in nature such as the ink and polythene papers. Printing encourages deforestation for the provision of the necessary raw materials. Due to this, options have been sought.

The first step in caring for nature is using the resources available effectively without any wastes. This means the materials used in the making of paper, ink and other writing material should be used well sparingly. It is done so in order to ensure that there is sustainability in the availability of these resources. Over exploitation of these resources can cause depletion of the sources.

Recycling is also very important where eco friendliness is intended. This means all materials that come as wastes should be put to use in other ways. This is to prevent wastage of scarce materials. Alternative sources of these materials can also be provided. Things such as crop harvest straws can be used to create paper.
